Gianni Gagliardo Fallegro Favorita
This is a family run estate dating back to 1847, with their modern era starting in 1961 when they acquired their Barolo vineyards and farm in La Morra, a town in the Barolo DOC. Fallegro was born in 1974 and is the Piedmontese version of the Vermentino vine. Vermentino is a popular white varietal grown all along the Mediterranean, this one though is grown far from the sea, in a continental climate and in sandy soils. It has an intense and vibrant character, a fresh and crisp white that is a perfect companion for afternoons, salads, seafood, and poultry dishes.
