Jurtschitsch Brut Rosé Sparkling

Alwin Jurtschitsch and his wife, Stefanie Hasselbach are leaders of the natural wine movement in the Kamptal. It’s unique because they happen to have the oldest winery in the area, dating back to the sixteenth century. When Alwin and Stef started working in 2006, they insisted with Alwin’s father and uncles on converting all the vineyards to organic viticulture. After a few trips to the Champagne region, Stefanie and Alwin set off in search of suitable vineyards in the Kamptal valley. The cooler, high altitude vineyards, characterized by the unique Kamptal style, provide the foundation for their Brut Rosé and bring freshness, acidity, structure and finesse to the grapes. Blauer Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent are the trio of grape varieties in this Rosé Sparkling Wine. The Zweigelt brings juiciness and brilliant color, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent provide berryiness and elegance.
