Uvica Ardeche Rose

These 30+ year old vines are planted to hillsides of rolled stony pebbles and iron-rich red soils in the area between Bourg Saint Andéol and Saint Remèze, just outside the 4,000 year old Monument of Giant Dolmens, West of the Rhône river. Fermented in stainless steel, the wine is left on its lees 5-6 months, unfined and lightly filtered. It offers notes of red and rose flowers on a medium frame with soft red berry flavors that last through to a long finish with lovely persistence.
