Castello di Radda Chianti Classico Riserva 2021
Radda in Chianti is one of the nine municipalities that produce Chianti Classico DOCG. Located in the province of Siena, it has a total of approximately 700 hectares of vineyards immersed in a dense and luxuriant woodland landscape. It is a natural environment rich in fauna and crossed by country paths bordered by typically Tuscan dry-stone walls. Radda's climate is among the coolest in the production zone: low temperatures and significant fluctuations between daytime and nighttime temperatures create the ideal conditions for the cultivation of Sangiovese.
This Chianti Classico Riserva D.O.C.G. comes from a selection of Sangiovese grapes from two different vineyards: Il Corno and Il Selvale. It is a fragrant and savory with intense aromas of woodland, spices and vanilla. This wine is aged for 20 months in used French and Slavonian oak, followed by an additional 9 months bottle aging at the estate prior to release.
