Esporao Colheita Red Blend

This wine produced solely from estate grapes grown at Herdade do Esporão, under organic farming. This is a blend of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tinta Miúda, Alfrocheiro. The fruit was all co-fermented in concrete tanks for 6 months. The beginning of 2021 was wet, which helped replenish the moisture in the soil for the vines. This is a classic Portuguese red blend: fresh and direct, with an elegant texture, predominate notes of sour cherry and red fruits. Robust tannins with an elegant finish.
