Ugo Contini Bonacossi Toscana Armacione Bianco
Ugo Contini Bonacossi was born in Florence, but credits his winery to his childhood memories growing up in the Tuscan countryside. Earning degrees in accounting and programing, he made his way into the world of wine, first by way of the world of beer. His brother purchased a home brewing kit, which Ugo kept up with while his brother gave up brewing. Today, he produces both beer and wine at his winery located in Roccalbegna, a small medieval town. He planted his vineyards in 2014 (red grapes) and 2015 (white grapes), his first produced wines were in 2021. Farming is done organically, and Ugo takes a non-inventionist approach in the winery. On the nose: ripe white fruit, almond, rhubarb.
