Catena Chardonnay

The Catena family has been making wine in the acclaimed Mendoza region since 1902 and is credited with discovering the benefits of high-altitude terroir. The family’s Certified Sustainable vineyards produce wines of unparalleled quality and elegance, as affirmed again and again by wine critics around the world. The 2023 Chardonnay Catena was primarily sourced from the Uco Valley. Aged for up to 12 months in French oak barrels, this yellow-hued wine reveals aromas of hazelnut, pear and herbs, with a subtle floral note. Indulgent and broad yet refreshing, the oak imparted a plush texture. Extraordinary honey and tropical fruit flavors alongside notes of citrus, pears, peaches, and white flowers with a strong minerality and a delicate note of vanilla. The mouthfeel is clean, with a fresh acidity.
