Since 2014, the Gran Selezione represents the excellence of a winery’s production and the expression of Sangiovese in its purest form.
A selection of hand-picked Sangiovese grapes from plots planted in 1998 and 2002 on a rich Alberese soil. 24 months ageing in 2000l barrels and 8 months of refinement in the bottle. 

The elevated vines, the low-intervention approach and the meticulous care put into the production process; the real flavour of Tuscany is expressed in Montefili’s Gran Selezione. Structured, yet explosive, delicate and very, very authentic.
