Terrazze Dell'Etna Ciuri Sicilian Bianco

Terrazze dell’Etna is not your average Sicilian winery, it’s a full-blown lava-fueled revival project launched in 2008 by Palermo-born engineer Nino Bevilacqua. Set across 36 dramatic hectares of terraces (yes, actual terraces carved into lava rock), the estate is surrounded by olive groves, cherry trees, and thick chestnut forests. Everything is done by hand, from pruning to picking, and farming practices are integrated to keep biodiversity buzzing. This is 100% Nerello Mascalese (a red grape) vinified as a white wine, with the immediate seperation of the must from the skins through soft pressing. In the glass this is light straw yellow with great clearness. The mouthfeel is bright and fresh, with good body that perfectly the bright acidity of this white wine.
