Finca El Origen Reserva Malbec

The Uco valley has all the necessary components to produce grapes of the highest quality. Finca El Origen is situated in Los Chacayes, a celebrated winegrowing micro-region where a mix of rock and sand found solely at 1,200 meters above sea level provides ideal conditions for the production of balanced wines that exhibit a distinct concentration of color and aromas. The fruit for this wine are sourced from a single vineyard. On the nose this Malbec shows aromas of vanilla and white chocolate, notes of licorice and black fruits that contribute to its elegant complexity. The mouthfeel is big and round, excellent volume, well integrated wood from barrel aging. The solid structure gives this wine a long aging potential of 10 years. Bold flavors of blackberry, plum, black currant, leather, oak, anise, licorice, meat, and violet with hints of spice all resonate.
