Feudo Solaria Nero d'Avola Rosé
This family estate was founded in 1887, located in North-Eastern Sicily. Since then five generations have managed Cantine Grasso, today Alessio, the fourth generation, together his sons Tullio and Carmelo manage the winery and vineyards. This is a rosé made of Nero d'Avola, an indigenous varietal to Sicily. Nero d'Avola normally produces dark, inky, bold reds but in this case, a short maceration time results in a lovely, light rosé. It offers a floral and fruity bouquet with pleasant notes of pomegranate and currant, on a hint of wild strawberries.
