Le Monde Pinot Grigio

Le Monde, founded circa 1970 in the Grave zone of Friuli, is renowned for producing terroir-driven wines that reflect the cool Alpine influences and gravelly soils of this northeastern Italian region. The Pinot Grigio shows aromas of pear, citrus blossom, and almond, followed by a crisp mineral-edged palate with good texture and length.  As for pairing, this Pinot Grigio works well with shellfish, light seafood risottos, grilled scallops, salads with citrus dressings, or fresh goat cheese.
