Marchesi di Barolo Vinearei Nizza Barbera

The Barbera grapes for Nizza Vineari are harvested by hand around mid-September from vineyards located in the municipalities of Castelnuovo Calcea and Agliano Terme using sustainable practices. The wine created is characterized by great structure and a strong flavor impact. Here we find soil characterized by a marked compactness due to the abundant presence of red clays. This wine is aged partly in French oak barriques
and partly in Slavonian oak barrels for a total maturation of at least 18 months in the cellar. The color is intense purple red with violet reflections. The nose is complex, with persuasive notes of plum and berries that fill the sense of smell. It closes with a pleasant finish with hints of pastry. The taste is lively and enveloping, with a notable alcoholic structure supported by a balanced acidity.
