Foradori Teroldego

$39.00

Elisabetta Foradori is celebrated for her biodynamic, low-intervention approach and for resurrecting the native Teroldego grape in Trentino. Her vineyards on the Campo Rotaliano plain date from 1956 to 2005 and are worked with organic/biodynamic methods. The wine displays deep color with aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, violet, forest floor, spice, and mineral accents, combining lively acidity with polished, moderate tannins. Some expressions (such as Foradori “Granato”) have been highly praised in international wine circles, though a universally cited numeric score for a generic “Foradori Teroldego” was not found. This Teroldego pairs beautifully with grilled red meats, game, braised lamb, aged cheeses (Pecorino, mountain cheeses), mushroom ragouts, and hearty stews—especially those from Trentino cuisine.
