Borell Diehl Pinot Noir

$19.00

In 1990 Annette Borell and Thomas Diehl married and created Borell-Diehl. Their 15 hectares of vineyards are a complex geology of loess, limestone, red sandstone, and lots of minerally muschelkalk (limestone). Rigorous crop thinning and hand harvesting are the norm here. Exquisitely fruity, silken textured, dry Spätburgunder from the sunny Pfalz. Handharvested from estate owned sites composed of sandstone, muschelkalk and loess; tankfermented and aged in large, neutral (3+yrs old) French oak barrels.
