$85.00

Château Dauzac, a Margaux Grand Cru Classé according to the 1855 classification, is fortunate to have a single 49-hectare vineyard: 45 hectares in the Margaux appellation and 4 in the Haut-Médoc appellation. The estate is situated close to the Gironde estuary, the estate is protected from ocean winds thanks to its ideal location surrounded by 120 hectares of meadows and woodland. The estate dates back to 1190 when Pétrus d'Auzac was given the land by Richard the Lionheart, King of England and Duke of Aquitaine. The 2016 Chateau Dauzac Margaux is a blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon and 29% Merlot. The 2016 vintage is extremely rich and precise without being excessive, revealing bright fruit and a dense and complex raw material. The high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend gives it an exceptional acidity/alcohol balance.
