Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere Le Comte de Malartic Bordeaux Blanc
Château Malartic-Lagravière stands on one of Bordeaux’s most prized gravel terraces in the heart of Pessac-Léognan, its vineyards rooted in deep gravel, sand, and clay that give rise to wines of remarkable balance and finesse. The estate’s history stretches back to the late 18th century, when the Malartic family, led by Admiral Count Anne-Joseph Hippolyte de Maurès de Malartic, lent their name and pioneering spirit to the property. Le Comte is the second label of the estate, and this Bordeaux Blanc is a blend of 78% Sauvignon Blanc and 22% Semillon. The initial warmth upon entry swiftly melts on the palate, leaving behind lingering notes of banana, pear, and pineapple.
