Fundamental Wines Red blend

Joey Tensley is a winemaker from California that specialized in Rhone-Style wines. He began his career in the wine industry in the early 1990’s, working as a cellar rat for Fess Parker Winery. After gaining experience and knowledge, he started his own venture, Tensley Wines in 1998. He sourced his grapes from top vineyards in Santa Barbara and his Estate Vineyard using traditional winemaking techniques, including hand picking and fermentation in small batches, to craft exceptional wines.

The majority of this red blend is Syrah but still has large amounts of Grenache, Mourvedre and a little white wine in to lift the nose. Savory and fruity is hard to accomplish but this wine delivers both.
