Hand Work Garnacha
Friend and Farmer and Hand Work represent the vision of three brothers—Francisco, Javier, and Luis Parra—who dreamt of honoring their La Mancha roots through organically and biodynamically grown grapes. To bring their wines to life, they teamed up with renowned winemaker Juan Antonio Ponce of Bodegas Ponce.
The Parra brothers cultivate two remarkable vineyards near Las Mesas. The first, Entresendas ("Between Paths"), thrives in a dried riverbed with nutrient-rich alluvial soils that reflect light and heat while providing excellent drainage. The second, Olla del Monte, also known as Cuesta Colorá ("Colored Slope"), boasts a chalky clay base topped with sun-soaked pebbles, which help radiate warmth during cool desert nights. Together, these unique terrains produce wines that beautifully capture the essence of their region.
This is a fantastic, wonderful super gulpable light red or dark rose, if you like. It is super chillable fruity but dry and just filled with fun-loving red berry fruit with a bit of spice thrown in. Drink this with literally anything.
