Hecht & Bannier Provence Rosé
Hecht & Bannier work more like a négociant/curator than a single estate, selecting parcels across Provence and the Languedoc for wines that showcase a specific terroir rather than a single domaine’s house style. This rosé comes from limestone vineyards on the plateau north of Aix-en-Provence, up toward the Durance river, planted mostly to Grenache and Cinsault. Warm days and cool nights during the growing season give it real aromatic complexity: white fruit and peche de vigne up front, with herbal notes of tarragon, bergamot, and lime flower, finished by a distinctive tang of fresh ginger.
