Laurent Family Culpable Pinot Noir
A knockout in the everyday-wine category. Good moderately priced Pinot Noir is hard to come by. The grape has a reputation for being finicky to grow and to get right. As a result, much of the lower priced offerings in the market are perfectly sound but also lacking character, with no trace of the transparency that makes this grape so attractive. This wine is made from hand-harvested grapes fermented with ambient yeasts. It’s a really friendly wine; fruit-forward but allowing just enough secondary flavors to give you a teasing glimpse of what this grape is capable of offering.
