Usonia Blaufrankisch 2022

A poppy, electric, almost Alpine expression of Blau. Aromatics of strawberry, white pepper, and a whiff of smoke in a chuggable, chillable 11% alcohol package.

Hand harvested, 15% whole cluster, spontaneously fermented. Gentle extraction during the 14 day maceration. Aged in 70% stainless steel and 30% neutral demi-muid for 8 months with sulfur added after malolactic fermentation and before bottling. Unfined and unfiltered.
