Vodopivec Solo MM 12 2012 Venezia Giulia Bianco
Paolo Vodopivec only cultivates Vitovska. His “Solo” cru is from a single, and his greatest, vineyard, a 1.3-hectare parcel of pure limestone. The Solo was fermented in underground amphorae then aged in large Slavonian botti. Vodopivec's winery is located in the Carso area of the region. Vodopivec's wines are not extreme in the sense of an orange wine. The color is giving and the palate has structure but there's a finesse that's remarkable.
